What is a developer flat rate?

A developer flat rate is a bookable package that provides you with the specified service package for the specified period. During this time, you have the flexibility to outsource your development tasks. It is also often referred to as a retainer.

Who is a flat rate suitable for?

This model is ideal for companies that regularly have software development tasks but do not need a permanent position or a complete project.

The flat rate is ideal for long-term cooperation.

What is the advantage of this model?

Companies can plan exactly what costs they will incur, as these are fixed in advance. However, they still have flexible access to a developer when they need one.

How does the collaboration work?

Before we start, we discuss your requirements, needs, and monthly tasks. Depending on the package you choose, various communication channels are available.

The work is carried out within the agreed deadlines.

How is billing handled?

The package price is due monthly in advance (prepaid). This remains the same regardless of the number of tasks. This allows you to plan your costs accurately.

When can I cancel the retainer?

The minimum term of a retainer is three months and is automatically extended for another three months at the end of the term. If you wish to terminate the contract, you can cancel it no later than two weeks before the end of a cycle.

If we determine that the collaboration is not suitable, you will be refunded pro-rata for the remaining time. This also ends your entitlement to the service from that point on.

What happens if I use less time than agreed?

As is usual with a flat rate, the monthly amount remains the same. If you find that you no longer need the service, you can easily cancel or switch to a smaller package.
